It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Zimmermann of Lunenburg, Massachusetts, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Leslie Zimmermann; and his parents, Jean Naomi Penberthy and Rudi Erich Zimmermann. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Zimmermann of Lunenburg, MA; his daughter Barret Jean Zimmermann; and his sister Marsha Valkyr. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, squadron-mates and friends.
