He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia and Anatol; and his grandmother Valentine. He is survived by: his wife Iris; his daughter Catherine; his grandchildren, Alexander and Elisabeth; his stepdaughter Helen (Jason); his stepgrandchildren, Nina and Nathaniel; his stepdaughter Ginny (Brad); his stepgranddaughters, Louisa and Emma; his siblings, Kiril and Victoria; his niece Natasha; and his nephews, Nikolai and Andrei.
In lieu of flowers, Dimitri would have been touched with donations to any of the following organizations: the USTA Foundation, serving youth; Angels Answers, providing food and clothing to people of Massachusetts, or Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
