He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Derouin and Jeanette Derouin Provencal (Viger); his wife Dorothy Derouin; his stepfather Archie Provencal; and his brother Richard Derouin.

He is survived by: his sons, Francis Derouin (Mary Ann) of Belchertown and Jason Derouin of Ludlow; his brother Allen Derouin; and his grandchildren, Matthew and Jameson Derouin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
