It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard A. Fijal of Ludlow, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Fijal and Genevieve Fijal (Robak). He is survived by: his wife Laraine Fijal (Silva) of Ludlow; his sons, Brian Fijal (Lisa) and Christopher Fijal; his siblings, Barbara Cannon, Mary Beaudoin (David), Cynthia Fonseca (Frank) and John Fijal (Jill); his granddaughters, Sydney Scott (Frankie) and Morgan Fijal; his brother Geroge; and his sister-in-law Myra Robitaille. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home (64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA 01056). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.
