He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Linger, and Gertrude Linger, Sr. (Lavallee). He is survived by: his wife Rosemary A. Linger (Demers); and his sister Patricia Linger.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services (15 Ludlow Ave, Springfield, MA 01151). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
