She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Goncalves and Dorinda of Sousa Aguiar; her husband Antonio Martins; her grandson Hermano Jose Marques; her son-in-law Jose Marques; and her grandson-in-law Michael Malaquias.
She is survived by: her children, Olimpio Martins (Maria) of Shelton, CT, Benvinda Marques of Ludlow, Carmina Silva (Jose) of Ludlow and Maria Dulce Silva (Manuel) of Ludlow; her grandchildren, Dina Quiterio (Angelo), Helder Silva (Crystal), Licinio Silva (Carla), Tino Martins (Meghan), Bela Machado (Vitor), Lisette Malaquias (Tim), Paulo Martins (Christine), Susana Marques, Vania Costa (Jeff) and Brian Silva; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Jaden, Tyler, Kassie, Gabriela, Hunter, Maddie, Karina, Aiden, Nadia, Logan, Oliver, Marcelo, Juliette, Carolina, Weston and Cecelia.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Maria's memory to Our Lady of Fatima Parish.
