It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella T. Longobardi of Ludlow, Massachusetts, born in Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 15, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raphael Grondin and Pauline Grondin (Tromblay); her husband Robert A. Longobardi; her son Thomas Joshua Hicks; and her grandsons, Gerard Hicks and William Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Hicks (Christine) of Spencer, MA, Robert Hicks (Roxanne) of Ludlow, MA and Marcella Fitzgerald (William) of Monson, MA; and her grandchildren, Colin, Anthony, Joseph and Lisa. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Corridan Funeral Home (333 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A committal service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery (420 Kings Hwy, West Springfield, MA 01089). A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
