He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dryjowicz and Anastasia Dryjowicz (Korsniak); and his sisters, Helen Dryjowicz and Anna Krupa Adele Kozlowski. He is survived by: his sister Irene Macutkiewicz. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, army companions, and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services (15 Ludlow Ave, Springfield, MA 01151). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (25 Parker St, Indian Orchard, MA 01151). The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
In remembrance of John's life, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, charitable donations be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
