He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel and Ana; his daughter Ana Maria Surreira; and his brothers, Albert and Abel Surreira.
He is survived by: his wife Ana Surreira (Rua DaCruz); his children, John Surreira Jr. (Megan) of Ludlow, Celeste Surreira (Cole) of Belchertown, Mia Jacintho (Jo) of Hatfield and Alex Surreira (Jackie) of Ludlow; his great grandchild Ari; and his siblings, Diogo, Manuel, Joseph, David Surreira, Maria Crowley and Sally Palatino. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
