He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel and Ana DaSilva (Machado); his son James DaSilva; and his siblings, Jose M. DaSilva and Gloria Kamuda (late Alfred).
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia M. (Sajdak); his children, Laurie Balboni (Matthew) and Michelle DaSilva (Scott Halkowicz); his grandchildren, Jacob, Vivianne Balboni, Juliana and Jonathan DaSilva-Halkowicz; his siblings, Teresa Rodrigues (late Armand), Luis DaSilva (Gail), Tony DaSilva (Cheryl), Manny J. DaSilva, Jr. and Lisa Piechota (David); and his favorite feline Misty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to D'Amour Cancer Center in Springfield, or Dakin Humane Society.
