Hiorns of Ludlow, Massachusetts, born in Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Niziolek and Bertha Niziolek (Kagan); her husband Donald Hiorns; and her siblings, Joseph, Thomas Niziolek, Helen Marczyk and Jane Topor.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Hiorns of Granville and Steven Hiorns (Elizabeth) of Naples, FL; her granddaughter Victoria DiPrato (Jordan); her son Scott Hiorns (Lynn) of Ludlow; her grandchildren, Rachel Breen (Timothy), Melanie, Jaclyn Kareta and Anthony Tompkins; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Kareta and Genevieve Charette. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Evelyn's family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Ludlow Veterans' Center, 487 Holyoke St., Ludlow, MA 01056.
