She was predeceased by: her parents, Joaquim Luiz and Maria Luciana Luiz; and her husband Luis. She is survived by: her siblings, Antonia Carvalho and Jack Luiz (Phyllis); her siblings-in-law, Marcos Gomes and Maria Jose Nicolau (Silverio) of Portugal; and her nieces and nephews, Pedro Miguel Nicolau, Luis Gomes of Portugal, Elizabeth Fernandes, Joel Carvalho, Jenna Ziskin and Christopher Luiz. She is also survived by many other family members and close friends.
