He is survived by: his wife Alexandra Szarlan (Sienkiewicz); his daughters, Karla Szarlan of Ludlow, Lydia Szarlan-Baltrush (David) of Torrington, CT and Cynthia Apple (Adam) of Ludlow; and his sister Elaine Montague of Ludlow.
