Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Aurelia Batista (Ludlow, Massachusetts), who passed away at the age of 93, on January 11, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adriano Cucchi and Adimera Cucchi (Ciaschini); her husband Fernando "Nundy" Batista; and her siblings, Eva Collina, Mary Turney and Ercole Cucchi.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Batista (Kim) of Ludlow and Tina DeLullo (Ralph) of Hampden; her sister-in-law Claire Cucchi; her nieces, Julie and Patty; and her caregiver Diane Busiere.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home (64 Sewall St, Ludlow, MA 01056). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Island Pond Cemetery.
