Arthur Saloio Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arthur Saloio of Ludlow, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Undina "Edna" Saloio (Monteiro); and his siblings, Jose, Irene (Methe), Armelin Jr., Ida (Santos), Manuel, Carlos and James.
He is survived by: his daughters, Irene Pereira (Fred) and Elaine Saloio Szlosek (Frederick); his grandchildren, Alissa Pereira, Lauren Alves (Jonathan), Christopher Pereira and Philip Szlosek (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Caden, Colton Szlosek and Audriana Alves; and his brother Raymond Saloio. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ludlow Funeral Home (432 East St, Ludlow, MA 01056). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Island Pond Cemetery (499 Center St, Ludlow, MA 01056).
Donations may be made in Arthur's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Boys Town - two causes close to his heart.
