He is survived by: his children, Agnelo Espinola (Silvia) of Louisville and Amelia Sousa (Joe) of Lowell; his grandchildren, Mathieu, Caterina Espinola and Arcelina Sousa; and his in-laws, Maria Adelia Bettencourt of Florida, Eurico Picanco of Lowell, Firmilindo Picanco of Lowell and Agostinho Picanco of Lowell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
