It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred H. Dunlavey (Lowell, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Dunlavey, Sr.; her parents, Eva Cohen (Hammer) and Leo L. Cohen; her son Michael J. Dunlavey; and her siblings, Frank, Jack Cohen and Marcia Delisle.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Miles (Ken) of Virginia Beach, VA, Patricia Herman (Paul) of Hudson, NH, James E. Dunlavey, Jr. and Kevin M. Dunlavey. She is also survived by her six granddaughters; her 17 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home (327 Hildreth St, Lowell, MA 01850). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
