He was predeceased by : his parents, Christos Gekas and Anthoula Gekas. He is survived by : his wife Agoritsa; his daughter Anthoula; and his sister Angela of Greece. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (62 Lewis St, Lowell, MA 01854).
