She is survived by: her children, Jorge Silva (Martha) of Lowell, Lucilia Halliday (Robert) of Newton, Nelio Silva (Glorinda Medeiros) of Lowell, Jose Silva (Grenualda) of Lowell and John L. Melo (Lacalete) of Florida; her grandchildren, Debora Resendes (Christopher), Nicole Pagan (Gabriel), Gianni Silva, Timothy Silva (Melinda), Andrew Silva (Valerie Griffin), Jennifer Bartolo (Justin), Lisandra Silva (Kristina Andrukaite), Adrian Silva (Dieniffer), Derek Silva, Cassandra Silva, Rachel Silva, Tiffany Melo, Crystal Melo and Johnny Melo; her siblings, Arlindo Amaral, Jose Amaral, Isabel Lopes and Teresa Do Canto of Windsor, Canada; her sister-in-law Luisa Melo of Lowell; and her cousin Maria Zita Avila of Lowell. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
