He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Whitney (McDowell) and Giles Whitney; his brother Donald; and his sister-in-law Dawn Whitney. He is survived by: his wife Pam (Clement); his sons, Leonard G. Whitney, Jr. (Jessica Valentine) of Londonderry, NH and James Whitney (Kristen) of Atkinson, NH; his grandchildren, Cameron, Jillian and Katie; and his brother Robert Whitney (Ruth) of Chelmsford.
