He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bloom and Patricia Bloom (Farley). He is survived by: his wife Dina Bloom (DiBurro); his daughters, Abby Bloom of Townsend, MA and Alannah Bloom of Townsend, MA; his stepsons, Ryan Platts of Bradford, MA. and Joshua Platts of Bradford, MA.; and his siblings, Ann (Duane Link) of Portland, OR, Ellen (Doug Breckenridge) of Vernon Center, NY, Marnie (John Martin) of Vernon, NY and Richard (Maureen Bloom) of Taunton, MA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morse-Bayliss Funeral Home (122 Princeton Blvd, Lowell, MA 01851). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.
Memorials may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
