He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Alves and Nair Alves of Jesus. He is survived by: his siblings, João, Rondineli, Elias, Geraldo, Vanilda, Selma, Aparecida and Maria; his wife Beth Grace Soparkar; his daughter Maritza Geraldo; his stepdaughter Bethsaida Santiago; his grandchildren, Laelani and Messiah; and his brother Alves Painting.
