It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose C. Velazquez (Lowell, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jose C. Velazquez to pay them a last tribute.
Though Jose may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jose touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Velazquez and Luz Maria Albino Caraballo. He is survived by: his wife Margarita Velez Vargas; his children, Maria Perez, Emilio Justiniano, Nidia Velazquez (Shakira), Jose Antonio Velazquez, Herbert Velazquez and Oscar Velazquez; and his siblings, Maria (Nilsa), Antonia and Manuel. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home (327 Hildreth St, Lowell, MA 01850). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery (90 River Rd, Tewksbury, MA 01876).
