We bid farewell to Irene Silva of Lowell, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Irene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Irene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Serafim Silva; her daughters, Fernanda DaSilva Lopes and Anabel DaSilva; and her grandson Samuel Lopes (Kelsey Harrigan) of Lowell.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the McDonough Funeral Home (14 Highland St, Lowell, MA 01852). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Anthony Church (893 Central St, Lowell, MA 01852).
