It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen (Zouvelos) Gacek of Lowell, Massachusetts, born in Dracut, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Argiris Zouvelos and Theone Zouvelos (Strobolakos); her husband John J. Gacek; and her siblings, Bessie Levas, Clara Zouvelos, Theodora Dys, Joanne Zouvelos, Angela Zouvelos, George Zouvelos, William Zouvelos and Anthony Zouvelos.
She is survived by: her children, David Gacek of Lowell, MA, Joanne Stanley (Jeff Stanley) of Brookline, NH and Robert Gacek of Lowell, MA; her grandchildren, Athena Bozek of Bedford, NH, Karly Gaudette (Jon Gaudette) of Manchester, NH and Jeffrey Stanley (Lauren Perry) of Brookline, NH.; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Bozek, Kadin Gaudette, Kolby Gaudette and Kyle Gaudette. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
