She was predeceased by: her former husband Nicholas Koumantzelis; her parents, Demetrios and Evanthea Zestas Tatsios; her siblings, John, Paul Tatsios, Helen Tatsios and Bessie Matseas; and her siblings-in-law, Bill, Christos Koumantzelis, Louis Leonsis, Arthur Matseas, Joanne Leonsis, Claire Koumantzelis and Mary Jane Tatsios.

She is survived by: her children, George Nicholas Koumantzelis and Ava; her husband Michael; her granddaughters, Alexandra Tingas and Georgea Tingas (William Donovan); her sisters-in-law, Vaia Liakas Koumantzelis and Iris Rapis Koumantzelis; and her goddaughters, Georgiann Kassaris McColough, Donna Beth Spanos and Suzanne Koumantzelis. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
