He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao Horta DeMelo and Maria Picanso. He is survived by: his wife Maria Da Fatima Horta; his daughters, Helena Espinola (Elpidio) of Tewksbury and Belina Silva (Saulo) of Lowell; his grandsons, Michael Espinola (Tara) of Wyndham, NH, Nathan Espinola (Samantha), Alex Arruda and Corey Arruda of Lowell; his great grandchild Luciano Michael Espinola; and his sister Odilia Fernandes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
