David G. Scharn Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David G. Scharn (Lowell, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Dan Scharn. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Scharn (Doucette); his parents, Mary E. Scharn (Smith) and Angelo DeBenedictis of Carlisle; his children, Jacob Scharn of Nantucket, Serena Scharn of Boston, Moriah Scharn and Shiloh Scharn of Dunstable; and his siblings, Steven Scharn, Dean Scharn, Scott Scharn of Saugus, Brian Scharn of Amesbury, Robert Scharn of Ayer, Robert DeBenedictis of Cambridge, Janis Horsley of Hudson, NH, Kristine Beaulieu of Westford, Lisa Downie, Diana Lynn Scharn of Lowell, Patty Popov of Concord and Lori Jimenez of Carlisle.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Salvation Army (150 Appleton St, Lowell, MA 01852). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Fox Hill Cemetery (130 Andover Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).
