He was predeceased by: his parents, Constance B. Briere (Desilets) and Ovide Briere. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Briere (Dzwilewski); his children, Rachel R. Briere (James Anderson) of Westford and Bruce J.; his daughter-in-law Brittany Briere (Trott) of Gilbert, Ariz.; and his grandsons, David, Desmond, Lucas Lacoy of Westford, Caleb and River Briere of Gilbert, Ariz.. He is also survived by family, he also leaves many close friends.
