Arthur R. Adie Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025, at the age of 93, Arthur R. Adie Jr. (Lowell, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen T. Adie (Regan); his parents, Arthur R. Adie Sr. and Mary Adie (Grogan); his granddaughter Shannon Hamilton; and his siblings, James Adie, Sheila Ashpole and Helen Lindsay.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hamilton (David) of Lowell, Mary Laferriere of Lowell, Joanne Picanso of Dracut, Coleen Ceci (Joseph) of Nashua and Jay Adie (Lisa Barone) of Dracut; and his grandchildren, Joey Laferriere, Heidi Laferriere, Wendy Laferriere, Kerri Picanso, Courtney Picanso, Taylor Ceci, Anthony Ceci and Mathew Ceci. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McDonough Funeral Home (14 Highland St, Lowell, MA 01852). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
