He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mooney and Jacqueline Mooney (Moynahan); and his brothers, Edward Mooney, Ernest Mooney and Timothy Mooney.
He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Mooney (Grasso) of Longmeadow; his children, Jennifer Mooney of East Longmeadow, Christine Stellato (Anthony Stellato) of Agawam and William Mooney Jr. (Leigha Bonfiglio) of Milford, MA.; his sister Cathy Mosca (Evagrio) of Lunenburg, MA.; and his grandchildren, Rocco, Jaxson, Mac, Olive and Sullivan.
