He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen M. Toner, and William E. Toner, Sr.; and his sister Helen Wilkerson. He is survived by: his wife Caroline; his children, John "Jack" Toner (Elizabeth) and Sarah Dugan (Joseph); his grandchildren, John, Mae, Louisa and Beatrice; and his sister Mary Anne Wright. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
