With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kevin W. Lawson of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kevin left this world on December 28, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wells and Margaret McDonald Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Plass Lawson; his sons, Brian (Jennifer) of Springfield and Patrick of West Hartford, Connecticut.; his grandchildren, Jordan, Haley and Preston; his sisters, Kathleen and Martha Lawson of Savanah, Georgia.; and his extended family, Deborah and Gary Lantaigne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (519 Longmeadow St, Longmeadow, MA 01106).
In lieu of flowers, Kevin's family requests donations in his memory to The Grey House to establish a fund for a new roof. Please mail donations to The Grey House, 22 Sheldon Street, Springfield, MA 01107, simply with Kevin's name in the memo.
