He was predeceased by: his parents, Belinda Grippo (Capron) and Gerard Grippo; his daughter Lori Ann; and his brothers, Dr. Enrico and Joseph Grippo.
He is survived by: his wife Constance M. Grippo (Corr); his children, Mary Jo Prater (Robert S. Prater), Alison, Rob, Emily of St Simons Island, GA, John C. Grippo (Violetta), Matthew, James, Michael of Longmeadow, Steven E. Grippo (Janel Cunneen) and Cuyler of Duxbury, MA.; and his sister Rose Werden (Herbert).
