He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Bresnahan Fitzgerald (Betty); and his sister Kathleen LeBlanc (Winky). He is survived by: his wife June C. Fitzgerald; his children, Jennifer Fitzgerald Shapiro (Douglas) of Longmeadow, John G. Fitzgerald Jr. of Newton and Joseph Fitzgerald (Jenny) of Longmeadow; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Ottani of Longmeadow and Gilbert LeBlanc of Ludlow. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
