With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Joyal Sr. (Longmeadow, Massachusetts), born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 2, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joyal and Mary Joyal (Gould). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Joyal (Polcetti); his children, Francine Calvanese (Alphonse) of Longmeadow, MA, Mary Joyal of Belchertown, MA and John Joyal Jr. (Kelly) of Longmeadow, MA.; and his grandchildren, John, Alphonse, Glen, Michael Calvanese, Chuntelle Warchelak, Mariah Waite, Trevor, Katelyn, Robert and Carly Joyal. He is also survived by his 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's name to the Holyoke Soldiers' Home, 110 Cherry St., Holyoke, MA 01040.
