He is survived by: his children, Cheryl L. Howard of Longmeadow, Donald R. Howard (Karen) of Longmeadow and Sandra A. Syniec (Frederick) of Longmeadow; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Plotkin, Donald R. Howard III, Kimberly Sullivan (Brian) and Kenneth M. Howard (Elena Pizzotti); and his great grandchildren, Ava Hastie and Declan Sullivan.
