It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Vangsness (Longmeadow, Massachusetts), who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Gobbi and Henrietta Gobbi of Springfield; her husband Norbert Van; her sisters, Iness, Maria, Francesca, Louise and Elaine; and her daughter Marjorie.
She is survived by: her children, Norbert, David, Peter (Patti), Mark (Diane), Maria (Steve), Paul and Julie (Tom). She is also survived by "Nana" also leaves 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several cousins.
