He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Brattle Gannett and Representative Ann Cole Gannett; and his sibling Thomas Brattle Gannett, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Adlumia "Lummy" (Sargent); his children, Sarah Gannett (Baltimore, MD), Amy Morse (DJ) of Chestnut Hill, MA, Abigail Levendusky (Jason) and Benjamin Gannett, Jr. (Jennifer) of Hingham, MA; his grandchildren, Jackson, Henry, Will, Annie, Ali, Olivia, Hadley, Natalie, Emily and Finn; and his siblings, Nancy Hurlbut (Robert), Deborah Brooks (David) and Peter Gannett.
His family will be forever grateful to Care Dimensions, and especially to Seasons of Danvers, for the love and care they gave to Ben as his Alzheimer's progressed.
