He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Cooper and Sylvia Cooper; and his brother Max. He is survived by: his spouse Tamar March; his children, Irene Jackson and Jeffrey Cooper; his stepchildren, Michael March and Nadine Brown; his grandson Carter Jackson; his stepgrandchildren, Patrick Montagna, Laura Montagna and Timothy Jacob Brown; his nieces and nephews, Mary, Bono, Harvey Cooper and Susan Cooper; and his brother David Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sherwin's memory may be made to organizations that were close to his heart: Oxfam, Doctors Without Borders or World Wildlife Fund.
