He was predeceased by: his siblings, Leland Thomas of San Francisco and Lucinda Wright of Greenville, NC; and also Dean. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; and his children, Erik Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Kathy Mandelbaum, Ellen Greenberg and Fred Coons. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
