She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Sutherland; her parents, Joseph H. Morey, Jr. and Marion Morey (Leeson); and her sibling Loraine Morey Rust. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Barron (Dev) of Concord and Loraine Cook (Steve) of Concord; her grandchildren, Thomas Barron, Annie Barron, Charlie Cook, Peter Cook and Ben Cook; and her sister Susan Morey Harries.
