He was predeceased by: his spouse Marianne Knowlton (Heimburg); his son Edward; and his siblings, Sylvia, Archa, Bessie and Harriette.
He is survived by: his pet Boomer; his wife Anne Annie Raker Knowlton (Preston); his parents, Edward Ned Allen Knowlton and Leila May Knowlton (Osborne) of Holyoke, MA; his pet Rescue; his children, Laurence (Suzanne), Polly (Robin) and Liza (Clifford); and his stepchildren, Robert (Annette), Deborah, Michael (Leslie) and David (Lisa). He is also survived by many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
