He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey; and his parents, Carl O. Swanson and Ellen E. Swanson (Nickerson). He is survived by: his children, David R. Swanson (Lee-Ann) of Lexington, MA and Karen S. Bursaw (Richard) of Hamilton, MA; and his grandchildren, Krista Swanson of Boston, Andrew Swanson (Abigail) of Quincy, Matthew Swanson of Lexington, Allan Bursaw (Emily) of Quincy and Peter Bursaw of Hamilton.
