He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruth Hopwood (Ralph); his children, Donna L. Cole (Stephen) of Lexington and Robert A. Hopwood Jr.; his siblings, Frederick Hopwood and Winifred Porter; his grandchildren, Stephen Cole (Flor) and Tracey Marrigan (Robert); and his great grandchildren, Robby, Charlotte and Hayden. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
