He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carle and Doris Carle (Smith); and his sisters, Maureen Healey, Regina Fischer and Patricia Galla.
He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Carle (Shannon); his children, Jennifer, Amy and Richard George Carle, Jr.; his children-in-law, Sanjeev, John and Inger; and his grandchildren, Gwen, Liv, Remi, Tyler, Ehanni and Dakotah. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
