She was predeceased by: her parent Leo Barksdale; and her sibling Margaret M. Vecchione. She is survived by: her parent Eleanor Barksdale (Nestor); and her siblings, Sheila A. Irvin of Pittsfield, Joseph M. Barksdale of Albuquerque, NM and Jane F. McHugh of Hyannis Port. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
