She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Holmes and Lois Holmes-MacMillan (Craine); her sisters, Hildred Mousseau (Holmes), Muriel Ellen Holmes and Marjorie Hare (Holmes); her husband Robert Hare (Bob) of Whitinsville, MA; her children, Colleen Covarrubias (Hare), Lorelei Hare, Dan Hare and Roderick Hare; her granddaughters, Marguerite and Christina Covarrubias; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Noah Navarro, Antonio and Lysette Covarrubias; and her great great grandchild Jasper Covarrubias-Martinez.
