He is survived by: his wife Mary Elvira Avery (Cottreau); his sons, Jack Avery (Terri) of Marstons Mills, Richard Avery (Linda) of Braintree, Mark Avery (Karen) of Nashua, NH and Thomas Avery (Tricia) of Hamilton; his sister Rita Munyon of Somerville; and his grandchildren, Erin, John, Shannon, Jennifer, Kristen, Michelle, Mark, Leanne, Emily and Hannah. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and by many nieces and nephews.
