He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Bateman Goe Scott II and Marilyn M. Scott (Meserve); his sons, Dana Scott (Laura) and Matthew Scott (Jennifer); his grandsons, Aristotle and Archimedes; his mother-in-law Lillian Andrews (Swain); his sisters-in-law, Joy Coonradt (Brian) and Beverly Valliere (Andrews); and his son Timothy (Deborah L.). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and great-grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry's memory may be made to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, The Voice of the Martyrs, or Doctors Without Borders.
